Building in the GA Area

General Aviation has always played a key role at the Peterborough Airport. With up to 35,000 aircraft movements each year, the airport can readily accommodate commercial flight training organizations and commercial charter operations. The Peterborough Airport serves a global clientele, from domestic and trans-border-fractional ownership operations to the international needs of Canadian industry icons.

General Aviation Lands

As part of the expansion project, the Peterborough Airport has prepared lots for construction of private hangars. The General Aviation Area is restricted to Code “A” aircraft with a maximum weight of 11,800 lbs. The land is leased to private tenants with the initial lease term being 20 years. This area is serviced with hydro only and propane heating is permitted.

  • 2014 - $0.2680
  • 2015 - $0.2747
  • 2016 - $0.2816
